Teamlead Service Operations DACH

What will you do? 

As a Team Lead Service Operations at Alfen Germany, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate execution of service activities in the field, while ensuring effective first-line technical support. You will lead a team of service technicians and external partners, coordinate planning, and drive continuous improvement across processes. Your leadership will directly contribute to Alfen’s mission of delivering reliable energy solutions and accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. 

Your tasks and responsibilities will include: 

• Monitoring and managing the workload of service technicians and field service partners. 

• Aligning with planners to ensure optimal service scheduling. 

• Coordinating and supervising departmental activities. 

• Conducting goal setting, performance, and appraisal meetings. 

• Advising on personnel matters and individual employment conditions. 

• Coaching employees, fostering knowledge development, and building strong teams. 

• Resolving escalated issues beyond technician scope. 

• Ensuring alignment and collaboration between departments. 

• Initiating and implementing process improvements across the organization. 

• Preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. 

• Safeguarding compliance with company rules, safety regulations, and codes of conduct. 

• Managing warranty claims, complaints, and certification processes (including VCA). 

• Overseeing administrative tasks such as invoicing, time tracking, and contract management. 

• Promoting customer focus and acting as an ambassador for Alfen’s service teams. 

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a skilled and decisive Lead with a proactive, hands-on approach. You thrive in a dynamic environment, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and bring structure and ownership to service operations. You have: 

• A completed degree in Technical Business Administration or Electrical Engineering. 

• 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role. 

• Knowledge of service and logistics processes. 

• Strong communication skills in German and English. 

• Experience in setting up a European service organization is an advantage.
